On Monday, February 24, 2020, we attended the IDEAL School of Manhattan’s 15th Annual Gala at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. We proudly support the IDEAL School’s exceptional academic program, an authentic model of inclusion, and a warm and nurturing environment. Veteran network news journalists John Donvan and Caren Zucker, co-authors of the bestselling book, In a Different Key: The Story of Autism, hosted the event. Kissy Simmons, Nala in The Lion King on Broadway, performed special musical selections. It was quite a night!
Congratulations to the IDEAL 15th Annual Gala honorees Evan Azriliant, Annette Hayde, Dr. Elisabeth Krents, and Dr. David Salsberg. When Mitch Rubin, Co-Founder and Vice President of the Board of Trustees, was introducing Dr. Salsberg, he explained perfectly what families love about him: "He 'got' their kid." Dr. Salsberg went on to say what he loves about his job is that he can meet and work with so many awesome kids. Congratulations to all! Thank you for working with and caring for so many awesome kids!
