Of Counsel
Of Counsel Judith (“Judi”) T. Kramer, a graduate of the Boston University School of Law, has been working in the field of Special Education for over 30 years as an IHO and as a lawyer for children with and without disabilities. Judi explained why she became of counsel to the firm: “I joined the firm because for many years, in my capacity as an impartial hearing officer, I was able to see firsthand the exceptional quality of the firm’s representation." As such, she brings a special perspective to the firm’s work. Judi previously worked as Chief of Affirmative Litigation in the New York State Attorney General’s Office. She also has many years of experience serving as a staff attorney for The Children’s Law Center and tried its first and only case in the United States Supreme Court.
Judi is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts. Judi enjoys painting, dancing, gardening, knitting and reading mysteries.
